Defining himself as a « sound artist » Damien Marchal has been studying the problematics related to sound which he uses as material for the elaboration of his work. The question of acting out in an artistic and geo-political context is at the heart of his work. For What Comes, Damien Marchal will exhibit his interactive apparatus Garbage Truck Bomb at La Criée. An interactive sound and vision submission, which involves the spectator through use of his cell phone. The latter has to decide whether or not to activate the apparatus, an act that is not without consequences.
