The framework in which the two Swedish artists work explores juridical, financial and spatial constructs through the notions of performance art and the virtual. The temperature of speculation : Part 1, first stage in a project that will undergo serveral developments, takes its influence from the methods of calculation used in the ill directed financial practises that propped up the financial speculators during the 70s. Now they have turned their interest to the evils of climat change and hope to establish a link between the stock markets and the anxiety caused by fluctuations in the climate, through the creation of an instrument capable of generating a « financial temperature ».
