Julien Préveux's artistic approach resembles a ceaseless negotiation with the real. Penetrating the nature of things so as to experience the limits and contradictions, the artist develops strategies which allow for the confrontation between the solitary individual and a given system.
For What Comes, Julien Prévieux  turns his attention to risk modelling, that is to say, the statistical translation of the possibility of catastrophe contained in all technical, scientific, economic, financial, political and social evolution. The artist pays particular attention to the « emerging » risks, which are inherent to the XXI century, and for which we have little probability knowledge and which are mainly sourced in imaginary scenarios created  for and by insurers and  reinsurers. For this project the artist is collaborating with a economic mathematician and a reinsurer.
