Reynald Drouhin

Born in 1969 in Paris.
Lives and works in Paris.

For several years Reynald Drouhin has been experimenting and developing work in the area of digital technology, photography, installation and silk screen printing. Part of his work can be viewed on the website Incident.net of which he has been a member since 1996. A platform for the creation of visual arts – not exclusively digital – it is a place of contact, where processes can come together, where the esthetics and the creations can intercommunicate and be stimulated.
For That Which Comes, Reynald Drouhin will be exhibiting Cité at the Couvent des Jacobins,  a sculpture in heat treated wood representing a dehumanised city. The work, a type of virtual interface, forms part of a global reflection on the construction of a city, and by extension, an ideal city, by playing on the ambivalence between utopia and its opposite, dystopia.
