Artist collective created in 2000.
A collective of artists and graphic artists, Ultralab was conceived in order to further group work and collaborations with the idea of generating an original form of artistic, political and economic autonomy. A the frontiers of art, communication and science, Ultralab's propositions come in a variety of media : films, installations, computer graphics, web sites. Making regular use of new technology, for the several years the collective's work has been inspired by fictional and virtual worlds. The watchword for their What Comes project : to introduce strange disturbances into the heart of the Convent from a stranded matrix in a concealed room…
